Monday Evening Report from Haiti

Today has been a BUSY day! It seems we have accomplished a lot and have a renewed vigor. We got several more shelves in and got some plywood walls up towards making a private office area. We hope to have a nice size office area and possibly have it air-conditioned soon. It will be large enough for one or two to be able to sleep down here. We really have a problem with theft at night, even though there is a Haitian guard at the door. Does that tell you anything?

Today has been sunny, but we've had a nice breeze so it hasn't been too hot to work...either that or we're getting more used to it.

The BIG man from Atlanta was down today (the one that sent us down here!) and he was very impressed with what we've got done since he was here last.

I'm simply too tired and my back is hurting so this will be as close to a report as I can give you today. Below are some pictures- most are from our tour on Sunday. One is showing the Haitian workers helping our men move a shelf into place today as they build the office. The Catholic church only has the front standing and the high priest died. The place is totally destroyed. All around it is tent city. The nursing school killed almost every student. You can see my laundry, so we do have laundry service...it just happens to be self serving! :)
